On Sunday I headed to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport to greet my beloved German to the U.S.
So far we took over Chicago, which was an ammmmazing trip. We were given perfect weather, which resulted in the stereotypical rude-city (at least to us Wisconsinites, don't get us started on their driving) in being alarmingly cheery. We had drinks with amazing views, great blues shows and visiting it's historic gangster past. There were gorgeous walks in parks, along the river and along Lake Michigan.
Being the off season, we had most with little or no other people around us.
Overall it was a great first impression.
A great start to next few weeks of travel to come!
